Many Nutritionists are struggling with money blocks - but the truth is, everyone has them! We have to work constantly at eliminating them.
I've seen some of my coachees visibly squirm at the mention of money and pricing. Some even say “i’m not in this for the money, I just want to help people”
Why is it that we attach the feeling of guilt to money?
Is it because from an early age we’re told that we must work really really hard to make enough money..
Because “money doesn’t grow on trees” right??
You might believe that you can help people OR make money, but not both. Maybe you believe that there’s not enough money to go around and you believe there is a scarcity of money around you.
It can feel uncomfortable to earn money without trying hard, so often we set out to make things much harder for ourselves. Cue the Procrastination!
Trust me - dealing with money blocks makes things so much easier, and the first thing you need to get straight is you mindset.
Understand and believe that money comes frequently and easily. Write it down every day if it helps!
Giving and receiving is a virtuous circle, so start thinking of money as ‘energy’ and let it flow in and out as positive energy.
When you’re earning enough and allowing money to flow in, you can use it to help other people. You’ll have more time and energy to grow and do everything you really want to do such as writing a book, creating an online course, or quitting your other job to do this work full time.
Charging people appropriately allows you to reinvest into your services, provide a higher standard of service… which then benefits your clients.

Common Money Blocks
1. Setting prices - feeling like you can’t charge what you need because you don’t have enough experience
2. Dealing with requests for discounts, especially from friends and family makes you feel anxious
3. Chasing people for money they owe you terrifies you
4. Maybe you find it hard to charge appropriate fees to help someone transform their life?
5. Or maybe you feel bad when people can’t afford your fees so you work with them for free.
6. Do you sabotage your business by aiming to stay ‘affordable’ for people - and judge others that charge more?
With these money blocks, you are limiting your potential. Attending to the needs of others is much easier when your own needs are met first.
Remind yourself daily that YOU are qualified to do this work and you have earned your seat at the table.
The truth is…
There is no cap on your earning potential
There is enough money to go around
There are enough clients to go round
There’s always more ideas
And there are easy ways to make money through a passive income
Choose the path of least resistance so work doesn’t feel like work - start there.
